About This Book
This book is the first graphic novel (well, short story collection, really) in French by Israeli caroonist Gilad Seliktar and his sister, author Galit Seliktar. It evokes life as a child in seventies Israel, giving equal “screen time” to commonplace events and anecdotes, as to horrific incidents and special reports (the demolishing of a house on the West Bank). One of the best books I’ve read this year.
